What is Giclee

Giclee printing is a high quality digital printing service, that we offer to artists, photographers, designers and the public.

Unlike conventional printing, Giclee is a print on demand service that allows the customer to produce one print or a hundred prints at a time. We run a high quality printer the Epson 11880 with producing some of the best results in the Giclee market.

Large format scanning

Large format digital photography surpasses the quality of all other scanning processes.

Our large format camera uses an advanced digital back which creates a 1440 dpi high resolution digital file in dark room conditions directly from your original work. Consequently we are able to achieve colour accurate reproduction* with no loss of quality. When a colour is not achivable then we will ensure that the finish retains the mood of the origional piece of art..

Your original artwork is kept flat avoiding any risk of damage as often caused with drum scanning.

Proofing

Before we can reproduce your artwork we need to adjust the colours from the camera to the printer. This process is done by our in house giclee technician.

Printing

All artwork is reproduced onto the finest quality materials using a large format inkjet printer with archival inks.

We are then able to finish your work by mounting and shrinkwrapping.
